Today was a fun lunch break because I got to meet up with a lovely friend (who also offered to buy my lunch, which made my food taste twice as good).
I’m sure everyone has a Subway in a 10 mile radius of where they work or live, but even so, I don’t get to one as often as you’d think. Today it was convenient and delicious though, so that’s where we met.
Our kick-butt sandwiches were awesome of course. The company was even better.
You know how you have friends who, even if you haven’t seen each other in months, you can just pick right up where you left off? That’s kind of like Kristina and I, and our little group of college girls too. It’s like “Oh hey, remember the last time we talked about . . .” and then it just continues from there. I adore friendships like that. They are low-maintenance and extremely rewarding.
And here is my pretty little friend mawing into her Jared-approved morsel.
Great action shot, right? So adorable. 🙂
- Never look a gift horse in the mouth (or sandwich).
- Take time to reconnect with friends because before you know it, too much has happened for you to catch up on in one sitting.
