For you readers who have noticed my lack of entries lately, an explanation is in order.
Last Friday I had off from work and hung out with my kids. It was a glorious, laid back kind of day.
Monday was a holiday, so didn’t post anything about my mom’s awesome food and how I spent the day with my extended family.
Tuesday (yesterday) I woke up with a migraine. Who wakes up with a migraine for crying out loud? I took a shower and Excedrin and doused myself with oils, but I was actually nauseous. I laid back down for two hours and slept and when I woke up I felt much better. Like 80% better. So I went to work, late, skipped my lunch and stayed later to try and make up for the time.
Today I am working out with my sweat-buddy, Kate. You’ve all seen pictures of the weight room, so I won’t bore you with that. It feels nice to work out, my body has been missing in the past couple of days, although I did go for a nice walk/run at my parents and the change of scenery was great.
Tomorrow and Friday I have off work (vacation) and Monday I have training down in Woodbury, so no lunch time enlightenment there either. Hopefully all will get back to normal next Tuesday!
